Uncle Sung Chicken and Rice (
Instagram) is a new virtual kitchen concept scheduled to launch on Saturday, December 19.
The new ghost kitchen will specialize in Singapore-style Hainanese Chicken Rice and will be available via Ubereats and Doordash delivery only. The dish, which originated in Hainan, China, is traditionally made with poached, organic chicken and garlic rice cooked in chicken stock, and topped with ginger, scallion, and garlic chili sauce.
The project is led by Chef Ray Sungadi, via the Orlando-based
BENTO Group OMEI Restaurant Group and he used to visit Singapore regularly growing up and has lived in Orlando for over 20 years.
