ST. CLOUD The tri-county area reported nine new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths Wednesday, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
It is the fourth consecutive day the tri-county area has not reported any new deaths. The state reported eight new deaths Wednesday.
Another 150 Minnesotans tested positive for the disease, bringing the total number of people who tested positive to 603,144. Since the start of the pandemic, 7,477 people have died.
Benton County reported two new cases of COVID-19, Sherburne County reported three new cases and Stearns County reported four new cases in Wednesday s situation update.
In Minnesota, 32,302 people have required hospitalization since the start of the pandemic, and 6,554 people have required intensive care units.
