With the case of police brutality still rampant in Nigeria, a coalition of civil society organisations has launched the Joint Action Against Police Violence (JAPOV) initiative. The JAPOV initiative, which was launched on the third-year anniversary of the #EndSARS protest, October 20, 2023, is aimed at addressing the prevalent issue of police brutality and human rights violations within Nigeria.
