Two drivers have been rescued from their lorries after getting stuck in flood water near Welshpool and Llanymynech. On Thursday morning, a heavy goods vehicle driver was rescued in the Llanymynech area by fire and rescue crews from Aberystwyth, Llanfyllin and Welshpool. Crews were then called to rescue another lorry driver at Pool Quay, near Welshpool at around 12.30pm on Thursday.
