Four NATO ships enter water area of Odesa seaport – Defense Ministry 2 min read
Four ships of the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group Two (SNMCMG2) entered the water area of Odesa seaport on Wednesday, March 10, the ArmyInform information agency of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine said. The ship group includes the flagship support ship S. MEHMET PASA of the Turkish Navy, as well as the anti-mine ships AYVALIK of the Turkish Navy, TAJO of the Royal Spanish Navy, LUPU DINESCU MS of Romania, the ministry said.
It is noted that all ships are moored at one of the berths of Odesa seaport.

The Canadian Forces has yet to find an officer to fill a top NATO job after the general selected for the assignment was dropped at the last minute because of an affair he had with a co-worker.
Lt.-Gen. Chris Coates was to have become deputy commander of Joint Force Command in Naples, Italy, but Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan put a halt to that assignment. Sajjan told this newspaper he made his decision after being recently told that Coates had an affair with a U.S. civilian co-worker while he was deputy commander of the North American Aerospace

The Command of Ukraine s Armed Forces has reported one killed in action (KIA) and two wounded in action (WIA) amid 20 violations of the ceasefire agreement by Russia-controlled armed groups in the Donbas warzone on Tuesday, February 23. In the past day, February 23, as many as 20 ceasefire violations were recorded in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone, the press center of the Ukrainian JFO Command said on Facebook in an update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on February 24, 2021.
In particular, Russia s armed formations fired proscribed 82mm mortars and grenade launchers of various systems near the village of Zaitseve. A serviceman was killed as a result of the shelling, while another one sustained shrapnel wounds, reads the report.
