Return to work strategy for injured workers: taking implementation forward Photo credit: GiZ Star Online Report Star Online Report Bangladesh Business and Disability Network (BBDN) with the support of Bangladesh Employers Federation (BEF) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has completed the drafting of a Return to Work and Rehabilitation Strategy for people who suffered injuries or disability due to industrial accidents or occupational hazards. Following an initial consultation workshop in January 2020 and further inputs from stakeholders on an initial draft, a final validation workshop was conducted in January 2021 to generate further discussion on finalizing the strategy and taking the implementation forward.

Owners to ensure labourers nutrition facilities – Monnujan 156 KHULNA, Jan 6, 2021 (BSS) – State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian has said mills and factory owners should come forward to ensure labourers nutrition facilities. “Production will be enhanced in the factories while on duty labourers have nutritious food facilities,” She made the remarks yesterday while addressing a regional motivational meeting to ensure labourers nutrition facilities held at a city hotel as chief guest. Ministry of Labour and Global Alliance for Improve Nutrition (GAIN) jointly organised the meeting. The state Minister said industry is the key of success of development and it’s depend on labourers hand.
