Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command have recovered two pump action guns and a Mercedes Sports Utility Vehicle abandoned in a ditch by suspected kidnappers

The Anambra State Police Command has said that its operatives on Thursday recovered some arms belonging to a criminal gang in the state.  The Police Public Relations Officer in the state command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, who made this known in a statement on Sunday, said at about 8.30 p.m. on Thursday, a police detachment in the Aguata area of the state while on patrol of Uga-Ezinifite Expressway saw an SUV drive past at a "terrible speed".
