President Muhammadu Buhari has extolled the Akwa Ibom-born Nigerian chef, Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, for breaking the Guinness World Record for marathon cooking. But Guinness World Records has not yet confirmed Baci as the new world record holder for the longest cooking time, saying it will have to review all evidence before doing so. SaharaReporters earlier reported that Hilda on Monday morning broke the current record for the "longest cooking marathon by an individual" after clocking in at 87 hours and 50 minutes.
