More victims of a fatal crash at the Swan Boat Club that killed two children have joined a lawsuit against the driver and the bar where she was allegedly at.

That Marshella Chidester is free on bond will never sit well with loved ones of the two children killed when her vehicle crashed into the Swan Boat Club during a birthday party.

A total of nine victims have joined a lawsuit first filed by Mariah Dodds, the mother of Zayn Phillips, 4, and Alanah Phillips, 8, who were killed.

The Michigan woman who killed two young children by crashing her car into a party has been hit with drunk driving and homicide charges.

“I had to be the one to tell my sister her babies were gone.” Raquel Smothers, the children’s aunt, said in court.

The family's attorneys said they would file suit against Marshella Chidestar, who is accused of driving her SUV into a birthday party, killing two siblings.
