London-based media outlet The New Arab announced on Tuesday the release of one of its Palestinian journalists from Israeli custody, alleging he faced torture during more than a month in detention.

The Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has asked Israel to immediately release all journalists in its custody.

At least 106 journalists have been killed by the Israeli regime since Oct. 7, making the besieged Palestinian territory the most dangerous place and a “cemetery” for journalists.

More journalists have been killed in Gaza over such a short period than in any other conflict in 30 years, RSF says.
