Democrats’ losing streak in statewide elections for agriculture commissioner continues.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Former Kentucky lawmaker Jonathan Shell will return to elected office as the state agriculture commissioner.

Republicans made it a clean sweep Tuesday – as they did in 2019 — by winning all five of Kentucky’s so-called “down ticket” races.

Newly re-elected Gov. Andy Beshear will join an entirely Republican down ballot for the next four years.
