Delhi businessman Dinesh Arora, a proclaimed approver in the Delhi excise policy case being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has been granted bail by the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested Arora in July this year, and he had been in judicial custody until his release. He was released on a personal bail bond of Rs 1 lakh, after having provided information to the ED regarding payment transfers.

Dinesh Arora was represented in the court today at the end of his remand period by the Enforcement Directorate. He was arrested by ED on July 6.

New Delhi : In a major development in the Delhi excise policy case, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for questioning. The AAP on Friday alleged that the CBI summoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as he spoke about the Adani issue and asserted that such notices would not deter their fight against corruption.

Earlier in the day, the Goa Police summoned Kejriwal to appear on April 27 in connection with a case of illegally pasting posters on public properties during the campaign for the 2022 assembly elections.
