Just about two hours ago, authorities tracked down the 46 yearold suspect. Ktvus allie rasmus has been following this developing story throughout the morning. Allie. Thats right. 46yearold Michael Green is the man who was arrested. Were told that he was arrested in the town of red field which is not far from des moines where the shooting happened. There are reports that a citizen who had seen this picture of him that were going to show you spotted green walking on a trail in redfield. That person apparently called police and police found and detained green. They said no weapons were discharged when they arrested him. Green was wanted for the deadly shootings of two Police Officers in des moines. Police had described the killings as, quote, ambush style attacks. Authorities first received a call at 1 00 a. M.
