Upgrading health infrastructure and equipment is a top priority of President Tinubu's Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative.

President Bola Tinubu has approved the establishment of six oncology and nuclear medicine centres in six different public-owned hospitals across the country.     This was announced in a press statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, his Special Adviser to the on Media & Publicity on Friday which claimed that the centres are targeted towards the government’s vision of overhauling the health and social welfare sector for enhanced service delivery to all Nigerians.
