TRIPOLI, June 10 (Xinhua) Libyan Minister of Justice Halima Abdul-Rahman met with European Union (EU) officials here on Wednesday and the two sides discussed European support for the Libyan government.
During the meeting, head of EU civilian missions Francisco Esteban Perez and EU Ambassador to Libya Jose Sabadell expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation between the Libyan ministry and the EU, especially with the European Union Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM), said a statement by the Ministry of Justice.
They stressed the EU commitment to strengthening the partnership with Libya, especially in such fields as criminal justice, the statement added.

TRIPOLI, May 25 (Xinhua) The Co-Chairs of the Economic Working Group (EWG) and a number of senior officials of the Libyan government Sunday held a meeting to discuss the economic situation in Libya, the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) said Monday. All participants agreed on the importance of maintaining the momentum on the economic track, including on further developing and harmonizing critical policies and moving forward with the unification of Libya s financial and economic institutions. Among the issues discussed was the importance of the swift adoption of the 2021 national budget, the UN agency said in a statement.

TOBRUK, Libya (AFP) Libya’s new interim Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah pledged to unite divided Libya as he was sworn in Monday, preparing to steer the war-torn country to December elections.
The North African nation descended into conflict after dictator Moamer Kadhafi was toppled and killed in a NATO-backed uprising in 2011, with an array of forces battling to fill the void.
A United Nations-supervised process is working to unite the country, building on an October ceasefire between rival administrations in the country’s east and west.
