Knife in his hand after the shooting. We spoke to one witness that says the man did not have a knife in hand. We saw the knife after he fell and hit the ground. Thats when the knife fell out from underneath his shirt and hit the cement. Police were first called to the homeless encampment thursday morning after a Homeless Outreach team encountered a man with a knife. The medical examiner said the 45yearold man died at the hospital. Another witness would not go on camera. Afraid to but he did see a knife in the mans hand but did not believe it was threatening. Frank.
