After repeating part of our conversation with Josh Baldwin from yesterday (catch the whole interview HERE), we got down to business on this Groundhog Day.
It s been awhile, but once again, Carmen shared one of her dreams with us. But the people that made an appearance in this one, don t share much of a connection.
We heard from Punxsutawney Phil and General Beauregard Lee with their predictions and both groundhogs did not see their shadow which means were in for an early spring. Bill also found alternative names for the rodents we celebrate today.
If you are a fan of the Groundhog Day movie, you can catch it again and again as AMC theatres will have a marathon showing today. If you prefer the small screen, Lay s Potato Chips enlisted one of the actors from the cult classic for a commercial that will feel like it is on repeat on ABC today.
If you feel like the news is repetitive with the negative and sometimes scary stories, you can always find comfort in the Word of God.

You might think we were in a rush to talk with Josh Baldwin this morning. The morning rush usually involves a stop at a drive-thru. Jules got us started with a conversation about her recent trip thru a drive-thru that caused a little bit of trouble. That led to Carmen sharing her story of hitting the overhang of a drive-thru and we heard from many others on their own issues in the drive-thru. For Dave, he was reminded of his time at McDonald s. As a former employee of McDonald s, he s not alone as 1 in 8 Americans have worked under the golden arches.
Bill slowed things down a bit with a chat on the luxury of unhurried living .
Then Josh Baldwin joined us for the first time in studio. Although we ve had a large cardboard cutout of him for awhile thanks to a bromance with Josh Baldwin. Josh shared some new music with us as Dave, Bill and Carmen got to know him.

Josh Baldwin made his first trip to The JOY FM Studios this morning for a chat with The Morning Cruise. He has spent some time with Jayar before and Jayar celebrated his own version of "Josh Baldwin Day" on October 31st last year. During his visit, we heard his brand new song, Made For More. He recently shared a clip on Instagram of soldiers at Basic Combat Training singing that song.
