Fans returned to Delta Dental Stadium to celebrate the 20th season of Fisher Cats baseball, and the New Hampshire (3-1) offense brought the juice in an 8-2 win over the Somerset Patriots (2-2) Tuesday night. Five of New Hampshire’s eight runs came in the bottom of the first.
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats notched their first win of the season Friday night, defeating the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at Mirabito Stadium, 5-2. Zach Britton tied the game with a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning and Garrett Spain put New Hampshire in front for good in his Double-A debut with a solo home run in the seventh.
In partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats announced their preliminary 2024 Opening Day roster on April 4, featuring five players drafted in the top five rounds since 2020. The Fisher Cats roster lists five names from the 2022 MLB Draft class, including two of Toronto’s first five selections in 2022.
