Jamie Larsen in 82P sets himself to pass Jonathan Allard for the North Island title on Saturday. Larsen began the 30-lap final on the outside of the second row and with American star Jonathan Allard blasting out to a big lead. It took 12 laps for Larsen to get past Michael Pickens and Stephen Taylor before setting out after Allard. The Wanganui Warriors Superstock team took a major step forward at Palmerston North over the weekend.
Competing at the ENZED Superstock Teams Champs, the Warriors recorded their first race win at the event since 2015, qualifying for the second night of racing for the first time since that year as well.
In doing so the Warriors team members drew plenty of praise from supporters and fans alike for their aggression and determination.
