Montana Senator Jon Tester says the Farm Service Agency has further delayed disaster assistance support for farmers who were hit by quality losses in 2018 and 2019. The National Association of Wheat Growers is also concerned with this issue. Vice President of Policy and Communication Josh Tonsager says they’ve been working with FSA to make sure the aid gets out to those farmers who need it.
He says farmers including many wheat growers were hit hard during harvest time in 2018 and 2019 in the Dakotas, Montana and Minnesota and are in need of this government aid.
