Wood River man faces cannabis delivery charge

EDWARDSVILLE A Wood River man was charged Tuesday with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.
Tyler C. McGrath, 28, of Wood River, was charged June 8 with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, a Class 3 felony.
The case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
According to court documents, on March 1 McGrath allegedly was found to be in possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver.
Bail was set at $15,000.

SAGINAW, MI Less than a month after absconding from probation, a Saginaw man is accused of robbing or trying to rob Saginaw County supermarkets.
The first holdup occurred at 9:45 p.m. on Jan. 14 at the Meijer at 3360 Tittabawassee Road in Kochville Township. A man went to the customer service desk and demanded money, intimating he had a weapon.
After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money, the man fled outside and left in a vehicle, prosecutors allege.
The next day at about 2 p.m., a man walked up to the customer service desk within Kroger at 4762 State St. in Saginaw Township and demanded money. The clerk refused to hand over any money and the would-be robber fled, prosecutors said.
