A Taycan EV Forum user discovered documents from Porsche detailing a patent for the Le Mans Living Legend concept car. The patent was reportedly filed on Feb. 2, just over a week ago through the European Intellectual Property Office. The car in question isn’t technically a car at all, it is a series of drawings that feature the one-off Porsche-designed concept that was revealed in the company’s 2020 book - Porsche Unseen.

German automakers, specifically those a part of the Volkswagen Group, have had a regrettable past with emissions scandals, and this time, Porsche is dealing with issues. The Stuttgart-based company has issued a stop-sale order on their used vehicles dating from the 2012 model year through the 2016 model year.
The emissions issues are surfacing in several models - the 911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, and Panamera, according to Business Insider. The problem is reported to be affecting only those cars equipped with Porsche’s Sport Chrono Package, an option that includes a drive mode selector, launch control, smarter and quicker shifts, interior upgrades, and more.

On Thursday, Lego announced that its new set will give customers the choice of building an open-top Porsche 911 Targa, or a hard-top 911 Turbo. The iconic body styles have, for decades, defined a generation of grand touring cars, along with supercars. And now, Lego allows you to have whichever one you want.
The set will include 1458 individual pieces along with a single build manual. The book will include two sets of directions, respective to which model you choose to build. Altogether, the pieces will build just one car, however, the pieces are designed to accommodate both the vintage, open-top sports car, or the hardline supercar.
