TIME’s Top 100 Photos of 2023 — a prestigious tribute to documenting global events — features graduates of Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication (VisCom):

With strong efforts in each of five monthly competitions, Penn State has claimed first place in the yearlong Intercollegiate Writing Competition conducted as part of the William Randolph Hearst Foundation’s Journalism Awards program, often referred to as “the Pulitzers of college journalism.”

ASU will receive a Hearst matching grant.
