Catholic Health announced Mark Sullivan has decided to step down as president and CEO on Aug. 31 after a 30-year career with the health system. Monsignor Robert E. To ensure continuity of emergency care for the local community, Catholic Health will open a temporary emergency department at 5875 S. Transit Road, Lockport, on June 18 at 12:01 a.m., following the closure of Eastern Niagara Hospital on June 17. Mount St. Marys Hospital will operate the 24/7 emergency department until the new Lockport Memorial Hospital opens in September.
