LOUISVILLE, Ky. More than eight months after UofL Health opened Kentucky s first drive-thru COVID-19 testing site, experts are preparing to administer the vaccine.
The woman behind the testing location at Brook and Liberty, UofL Chief Nurse Cindy Lucchese, said they ve tested more than 50,000 people since March. I thought it was so important that we test so that we could encourage anyone who had this virus to isolate, not go to work, stay away from family as much as possible, and knowing I could contribute to that is why I got involved, Lucchese said.
