A man who assaulted a woman at the Hill City Super 8 before locking her on a balcony has received two 25-year sentences for aggravated assault and second-degree kidnapping.
Dale P. Lang, of Elkland, appeared in court on Dec. 21 before Judge Hendrickson for sentencing after a jury found him guilty Aug. 22 of two felony counts of first-degree statutory sodomy following a two-day trial and deliberation.
Dale P. Lang, of Elkland, is scheduled to appear in court with Judge Hendrickson presiding on Dec. 21 for a sentencing hearing. This comes after a recent guilty verdict from jury trial.
On June 6, MaKoy Miller Gehrke pleaded not guilty before Judge Michael Hendrickson. Ten days later, on June 16, Gehrke was back in the courtroom with his attorney for a bond hearing. The bond was set at $100,000 with the conditions being that if posted, he is to be on house arrest with electric monitoring and to have no contact with any person under 18 years old.
