A Winnipeg man who pleaded guilty to violating the securities and mortgage broker acts after taking more than half a million dollars from an elderly widow will serve a 15-month sentence in the community though he’ll still be allowed to contact the woman, for whom he's continued to run errands.
UPDATE: Daniel Lowman entered pleas to one count of DUI and two counts of child endangerment. Judge Michael Clark ordered him to serve two days to six.
