Bill and Judy Mason died of COVID-19 week apart this fall.
“The losses of Bill and Judy Mason have impacted me greatly,” said Valerie Hamilton.
Hamilton, the owner of Poetry in Motion Dance Productions – formerly known as Judy s School of Dance – said she started dancing for Judy at age 3 and bought the dance studio in January 2006.
“Judy was my teacher, mentor, employer, employee, inspiration and friend,” Hamilton said. “Bill was an always present figure as well as the years went by.”
Judy, who was 83 when she died of COVID-19 on Nov. 11, opened Judy’s School of Dance in 1964. She taught thousands of students over the years, up until the time of her death.
