100 Years Ago: 1921
The annual bowling banquet and entertainment of the Calumet Club was held last evening at Odd Fellows Hall on Lisbon Street. More than 150 members of the club attended the affair which is one of the leading events in club life. The banquet was served at 6:30 with the first part of the entertainment program immediately after. During the intermission the presentations of prizes, individual and teams took place.

Hundreds of area shoppers visited the all-new W. T. Grant Store in Lewiston today as the doors of the large establishment were opened for the first time to ‘the general public. A large number of Lewiston city officials, business leaders and executives of Grant’s were on hand for the brief opening ceremonies.
