The Norris Cultural Arts Center in St. Charles presents its fourth annual Bakers Dozen Holiday Festival starting Dec. 12 and running exclusively online through Dec. 24. Free to view, the festival is offered by The Norris as a holiday season gift to the community.

Labor Day weekend is almost here and with it comes a plethora of festivals, including Buffalo Grove Days, Napervilles Last Fling, Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset Festival, Schaumburg Septemberfest, Elgin Fringe Festival, Long Grove Irish Days, parades, fireworks, concerts and more.

Julia Danielle, winner of the 2022 International Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition, will perform in concert Friday, Sept. 8, along with a jazz quartet led by renowned pianist Jeremy Kahn. The concert marks her debut performance during the annual St. Charles Jazz Weekend.

LGBTQ musical artists really and truly will be a force to be reckoned with this spring and summer.
