So, certainly this commission and the board of supervisors can adopt signage controls that are uniform and that reduce the size of the sign that may be allowed in that district. And do that fairly routinely, where there will be legislative matters brought before you where you establish sign controls. So, you still have the ability to establish sign controls. Its just the discretion which is the concern. And, so, obviously probably something the City Attorneys Office should be involved in as well because it is dealing with First Amendment issues. I dont have a problem with logos and what they say and stuff. Its like size, maybe not even color, but the size is a concern to me and the number. And it seems like a lot of other communities have more extensive sign controls than we do, to the point where Something Like chase signs wouldnt be allowed in the current way that theyre designed.
