The Home Minister pointed out that Punjab government had done good work and that the Centre had cooperated.

The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) Tribunal on Tuesday upheld the Centres decision to ban Popular Front of India (PFI) and its affiliates.

Noting that the government has successfully banned Popular Front of India (PFI) from rising above vote-bank politics, Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the organisation promoted radicalism and religious bigotry and tried to prepare raw material for terrorism and any delay in action would not have been in the national interest.

Responding to Amit Shahs comments on banning the outfit Popular Front of India (PFI), Rajasthan Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas on Tuesday said that the Congress never objected to it.
