of course, he famously voted for the obama stimulus last year, one of three republicans. he was a member of the g.o.p. at the time. he started talking about steele and the chinese and getting tough with them, and the only thing i can figure, i m sure it s a big issue is that this is a particularly big issue in the western part of pennsylvania, and of course, he is running for reelection to the senate, and so i think he may have been talking to his local stitch whe constit. a plug in the mix for him. they talked about a story that s gathering a lot of steam in washington, whether or not justin john paul stephens about to turn 90 retires from the court. they talked about the possibility of filibuster. first of all, it s so interesting because here is justin stevens. he s 89. usually they just announce it. today in both the new york times and the washington post, jusjustice stevens had separate
