CA Exam Postponement: Despite earlier appeals and a legal petition requesting the postponement of the exams due to their proximity to the general elections, the Delhi High Court has dismissed such requests.
The Calcutta High Court order directing the CBI to probe into the role of West Bengal government officials in an alleged teacher recruitment scam was stayed by the Supreme Court on Monday, in a huge relief to the Mamata Banerjee-led government.
The bench also stated that it would stay the direction that ordered the CBI to undertake further investigation against officials in the state government, PTI reported.
