that is where a fire broke out thursday morning, spreading to 11 rowhomes and killing a pregnant woman and her two sons, ages 7 and 11. it was very scary, very scary. my grandchildren. officials are not sure about the home where the fire started, but most of the homestead not have a working smoke alarms. it is such a tragedy when people can be saved by such a simple device. firefighters took to the streets saturday afternoon, knocking on doors, talking to neighbors about fire safety and installing new smoke alarms for free. is very nice they do that. everybody needs smoke detectors. better to be safe than sorry. when a fire does happen, and it spreads to the community and gives us a better opportunity to convince people to let us come in and help them be safe. and residents to not have to worry about changing batteries. these alarms have special lithium batteries that last 10 years. fire officials hope that alone will save lives. these alarms are free for any ci
