Kade Webster News Today

Denver Pioneers forward McKade Webster can tie the score with his younger sister, Makenna, this weekend at the Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota.

McKade, a senior captain for Denver, is trying to follow the lead of Makenna, who helped Ohio State capture the women’s crown just over two weeks ago. It was McKade who inspired Makenna to switch over from figure skating. It was Makenna who once gave McKade a black eye courtesy of a high stick in a friendly game in their basement.

The No. 1 University of Denver hockey team returns to action this weekend as the Pioneers host the Omaha Mavericks in a post-Thanksgiving series at Magness Arena.

The No. 2 Denver Pioneers hockey team scored three goals in both the second and third periods to defeat the No. 12 North Dakota Fighting Hawks 6-3 on Saturday night

With nearly 40 draftees playing, in addition to some coveted free agents, a piece of the NHLs future will be on display in Boston.
