After acquiring Sprint in 2020 and Mint Mobile earlier this year, T-Mobile has entered into a $4.4 billion agreement with US Cellular to take over "substantially all" of the latter's wireless operations in mid-2025.
The wireless provider T-Mobile on Tuesday unveiled plans to buy the large part of competing U.S. Cellular in a $4.4 billion deal which will give T-Mobile a further 4 million customers.
T-Mobile is moving to acquire US Cellular, and if past efforts in acquisition and consolidation are any clue, it may not be all good news for US Cellular users.
