What they thought was a person causing some sort of trouble and when Police Tracked the person down in a car, there was some sort of confrontation and shots rang out. Officers flagged down by someone in the area just pointed out a suspicious vehicle then again the officers approached the vehicle to investigate, there was an exchange of gunfire. Reporter so two ambulances then called one for the officer who were hearing may have been shot in the hand and one for a suspect. There was also a carjacking suspect in the area.
