KUCHING (July 4): Deputy Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian has suggested a Japanese Consulate be established in Kuching due to the large amount of Japanese investment in Sarawak.

The Sabah Cheshire Home and Services received a Nissan Serena mobility van donated by the Japanese Government which would aid the home’s ‘Cheshire Mobility’ wheelchair lift service.
The vehicle was purchased with a grant worth RM164,587.58 funded through the Japanese Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project (GGP)
