Four people died and 50 others were injured after six coaches of the North East Express derailed near Raghunathpur railway station in Bihar s Buxar on Wednesday.
Several people were injured when a couple of coaches of the North East Express derailed near Raghunathpur railway station in Bihar s Buxar district. The train was traveling from Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi to Kamakhya Junction in Assam s Guwahati. Rescue teams have arrived at the scene, and relief trains have been sent. The Assam Chief Minister and Bihar s Deputy Chief Minister have both directed officials to provide aid and ensure proper relief and rescue operations.
Four people died and 60 were injured; an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh will be given to the next of kin of each deceased, and Rs 50,000 will be given to the injured.
