Former auditor-general Tan Sri Dr Madinah Mohamad told the High Court that she was “shocked” to find out there were two versions of the audit report on 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) when she took over the top position in the National Audit Department (NAD) in 2017.
KUALA LUMPUR: There were never two versions of the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) audit report but only a draft and a finalised version, the High Court heard.
KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 Tan Sri Madinah Mohamad told the High Court today that she first learnt that the audit report on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) had been tampered with in March 2017 after taking over as the new auditor-general. Madinah, who was the auditor-general from February 2017.

KUALA LUMPUR: The 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) audit tampering trial involving former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and former 1MDB CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy has been postponed to March 28.
