4 deaths in Samba, 3 in R S Pura Sanjeev Pargal JAMMU, May 2: Forty one more persons died of COVID-19 and 3571 tested positive in Jammu and Kashmir today. Jammu region recorded 28 deaths, 11 of them women, and 1150 cases. Among the dead were a doctor, two women from New Delhi and Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), a Pharmacist of District Hospital Samba, an official of Railways Company hailing from Andhra Pradesh and a 26-year-old youth. Another Judge of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, a KAS officer posted as Block Development Officer (BDO) at Bhagwa in Doda and three officials each from Crime Branch and State Bank of India (SBI) Head Office tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu today. Few days back, a retired Judge of the High Court and his family were infected while prior to that another serving Judge had tested positive for the virus.
