Kantara originally released in Kannada with dubbed versions in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil releasing two weeks later. Upon its release, the film was declared a massive box office success, grossing over Rs 400 crore worldwide.
There were reports that the streaming rights have been grabbed by Amazon Prime and the film will make its OTT premiere in the first week of November. However, due to the film s striking response in theatres, the makers decided to delay the premiere.
Kannada movie review: This period action thriller was released on September 30, 2022. The film has already crossed the Rs 200-crore gross worldwide collections.
