Tension gripped the villages of Kharkhari and Behrakudar in Dhanbad district due to a clash over power supply from the BCCL feeder. Villagers from Kharkhari disconnected power supply to Behrakudar, leading to a confrontation. Police intervened to control the situation and are filing FIRs against the involved parties.

Dehradun SSP Daleep Singh Kunwar said that after Kudrat told her brother about Kapil, they planned to kill him. They met Kapil in Haridwar and went with him to Mussoorie. Kapil’s throat was slit when he was sleeping.
