Former Bafana Bafana and PSL coach Gordon Igesund has questioned whether the sacking of coaches is the answer to the national team's struggles.
Igesund, who managed the national team from July 1, 2012 until April 30, 2014, believes the problem won't be solved by simply scratching the surface.
Asked if SAFA was right to fire the coach, Igesund said he believes Ntseki was rushed into the position.
"Look, I think Ntseki is a very good guy, he's a good up-and-coming coach, but I think he shouldn't have been given the job in the first place, he was doing well with the under-23s, under-20s and the junior teams you know," Igesund tells

TS Galaxy star Karabo Tshepe has been ruled out for the rest of the 2020/21 season due to a bad knee injury.
Tshepe arrived at Galaxy at the beginning of the season following his fall out with Black Leopards at the end of last season.
After only making four appearances in the DStv Premiership this season, the 32-year-old will not play any part in the business end of the campaign.
