Dhaka, May 29 (IANS) A 22-year-old woman who was trafficked to India from Bangladesh was allegedly raped and tortured by four Bangladeshi men, and two women. All the accused were arrested by the Bengaluru Police on Thursday and on Friday the police had to open fire at two accused who trying to escape from the custody, confirmed the Tejgao police of Dhaka. Two separate cases have also been filed in Tejgaon police station.
Meanwhile, a special police team has gone to a neighbouring state to trace the victim, a 22-year-old woman, who has been taken along with two other unidentified accused who are yet to be arrested.
