Karel Sochor, former Honorary Consul General of the Czech Republic to Liberia
Credible information reaching the Daily Observer newspaper has it that the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is conducting an investigation into the decision of releasing from the custody of the security agency in the Republic of France one of the two Czech Republic nationals, Karel Sochor, wanted for prosecution in Liberia. Sochor is the former Consul General of Czech Republic to Liberia.
The French authorities accordingly took the decision to release Sochor after he presented a copy of a police clearance dated August 4,2020, believed to have been issued to him by the Interpol section of the Liberian National Police (LNP), clearing him of all criminal offenses while residing in Liberia.
