A 31-year-old Danielsville man was arrested recently on a felony vehicular homicide charge in connection with a wreck last year that claimed the life of a Franklin County woman.
Anthony Mark Green, 31, was arrested April 29 on a bench warrant issued after he was indicted by a Madison County grand jury on charges that also included reckless driving, following too close, driving too fast and causing serious injury by vehicle.
The charges stem from an Oct. 2, 2020, three-vehicle wreck on U.S. Highway 29 near Moons Grove Church Road that killed Karen “Kay” Kirk, 64, of Royston.
Charges had not previously been filed in the case, but evidence was recently presented to the grand jury, which issued a true bill indictment, Northern Circuit District Attorney Parks White said Monday.
