LAHORE:The PTI government achieved another milestone in the City on Friday as the promotion of trade and economic activities is pivotal in developing societies.
Addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Lahore Central Business District at Walton Airport on Friday, the chief minister said the economic activities alleviate poverty by providing job opportunities.
The launch of Lahore Central Business District is a giant step in this regard, he added. The PTI has also introduced the avant-garde Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project and the foundation stone of another mega project has been laid to promote economic activities, he added.

LAHORE: Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has announced mega projects worth billions of rupees for the Lahore City development and said that Lahore would be given its due right.
Usman Buzdar said that a state-of-the-art 1,000 beds general hospital would be established on 124-kanal land of LDA along Ferozepur Road near Arfa Karim Technology Tower at a cost of Rs9 billion.
This hospital will have a capacity of 400 beds in the general ward, 400 beds in cardiology and 200 beds in blood diseases wards. The health department summary had been approved in this regard, he said adding Mother & Child Care hospital was being completed in Ganga Ram hospital at a cost of Rs4 billion; Childrenâs Hospital has been awarded status of University of Child Health Sciences and an amount of Rs4 billion has been allocated for this university.

LAHORE:Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said the opposition is promoting the sole agenda of saving its corruption.
In a statement, the chief minister said the opposition leaders had proved that they were totally unconcerned about the safety of the general public in the corona pandemic. The opposition is doing politics at the cost of the lives of the people, he said. They are causing to spread coronavirus through meetings and this shows their insincerity; he said and stressed that putting the lives of the people at stake was no politics. Usman Buzdar emphasised that getting an NRO was the actual destination of PDM but they should remember that they would not get it from PM Imran Khan. The desires of the opposition will not be fulfilled and the government will complete its term, he added.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has announced mega projects worth billions of rupees for the development of Lahore and said the metropolis will be given its due right.
He said this while addressing a ceremony held in connection with the announcement of mega projects for the development of Lahore at 90-SQA on Friday. The government has decided to construct flyovers and underpasses to redress this problem. He further disclosed that flyovers would be constructed at Shakam Chowk and Karim Block Market Chowk.
