NEW DELHI: The Union Health Ministry has written to States and Union Territories listing the best practices used by them while dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic including-- Tamil Nadu's taxi ambulance, Mobile OPD in Rajasthan, along with 12 other initiatives.

The Union Health Ministry on Friday shared the lists of several innovations and best practices beneficial in curbing the spread of Covid 19 and that could result in fruitful Covid management. These practices were shared with Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the district officials during meetings held on May 18 and 12 with DMs of 100 districts and other officials.

New Delhi, April 18 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the district administration of Varanasi should extend all possible help to the people with utmost sensitivity.
The Prime Minister reviewed the Covid situation in Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency, through video conferencing. He interacted with regional public representatives and officials. He took stock of testing, availability of beds, medicines, vaccines and manpower for prevention and proper treatment of infected patients.
He directed the officers to provide all possible assistance to the public expeditiously.

New Delhi [India], April 18 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reviewed COVID-19 situation in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi through video conferencing and directed the officials to provide all possible assistance to the public at the earliest.
As per Prime Minister's Office (PMO), during the meeting, information about testing, beds, medicines, vaccine, and manpower among other things was taken by the Prime Minister for the prevention of Covid-19 and proper treatment of corona infected patients.
During the discussion, PM Modi especially emphasized that "Do gaz doori, mask hai zaroori" (two yards distance, and mask is necessary) should be followed by everyone and asked the administration to make all people above 45 years of age aware of the vaccination campaign.
